Zirconia blocks are a dental multi-dimensional graded zirconia block launched by Changsha honchon Technology Co., Ltd.. Zirconia blocks have ultra-high light transmittance and high-strength bending resistance. They are the best for making dentures. Materials usually used to make full dentures, crowns, veneers, etc.
FEATURES
Suitable for anterior and posterior restoration
A multilayer color gradient,strength gradient,translucency gradient,fracture gradient
High fracture toughness to resist chipping
Since the vast majority of customers have not had the opportunity to visit our factory, they are not very clear about our production steps, so I would like to introduce our production process to you.
Material selection: High-quality raw materials, such as zirconium oxide powder, are selected for the production of Zirconia blocks. The purity and particle size of the powder are critical factors.
Preparing the powder: The zirconium oxide powder is mixed with other materials, such as stabilizing oxides and additives, to enhance properties like strength, stability, and translucency. The mixing is done in a specific ratio and under controlled conditions.
Forming the blocks: The powdered mixture is then compressed and shaped into blocks using a uniaxial or isostatic press. The pressure applied during this process helps to shape the material and remove any air bubbles.
Drying: The formed blocks are then dried to remove any moisture. This is typically done in a controlled environment to prevent any warping or cracking.
Pre-sintering: The dried blocks are subjected to a pre-sintering process at relatively low temperatures (~900-1200°C). This step helps to solidify the material and increase its mechanical strength.
Machining and shaping: After pre-sintering, the partially sintered zirconia blocks are machined and shaped using computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines or diamond tools. This step involves precision machining to achieve the desired shape, dimensions, and surface finish.
Packaging and distribution: The finished Zirconia blocks are then packaged and prepared for distribution to dental laboratories or other end-users.
